Satish Mehta is a distinguished leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. A first-generation entrepreneur and visionary, he brings decades of strategic insight and governance experience to Emcutix Biopharmaceuticals Ltd.
At Emcutix, he plays a key role in transforming the company’s vision of becoming a trusted, innovation-led biopharmaceutical organization focused on advancing dermatology and skin health into sustainable growth and measurable outcomes. He plays a key role in driving the company’s growth plans and strengthening its commitment to scientific excellence, ethical practices, and sustainable innovation. His leadership continues to inspire the pursuit of excellence, integrity, and long-term value creation across the organization.

Mr. Mehta holds a postgraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Pune and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A).
Mr. Samit Satish Mehta

Samit Mehta serves as Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director of Emcutix Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. He also serves as the Whole-time Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited and is the Chief Operating Officer and a Director on the Board of Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Ltd.
Prior to joining Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Samit Mehta worked as a Management Consultant (Strategy) at Ernst & Young LLP (India). During his tenure at EY India, he advised several major clients from different sectors including Healthcare, Education and Mining.
Samit has done his graduation and post-graduation in Commerce from Pune University. He holds an MBA degree from the Ivy League Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also serves on the Board of Directors of UTH Beverage Factory Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Vikas Madan Thapar

Vikas Thapar brings over 23 years of rich experience and a proven track record in providing strategic business and financial support across diverse industries.
He currently serves as the President of Corporate Development, Strategy & Finance at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited. Prior to this, he worked in the Silicon Valley, USA, with leading organizations such as eBay/PayPal and Agilent Technologies where he worked in finance.
Mr. Thapar holds a bachelor’s degree in management science from the University of California, San Diego. He did his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business of University of Southern California.
Mr. Raghu Kumar
Chairman & Independent Director
Raghu Kumar is a Chairman & Independent Director of Emcutix Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. He brings extensive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, having held senior executive roles at several global organizations.
Mr. Kumar has previously served as Managing Director of Allergan, Chief Executive Officer of Novartis Consumer Health, and Chief Executive Officer of Bayer. He is also a Member of the Board of Governors at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak and serves on the Board of Studies in Pharmaceuticals at NMIMS.
He holds a degree from St. Stephen’s College and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Srinivasan Raghavachari
Whole-time Director and CEO
Mr. R.S. Vasan has over 40+ years of experience in the Pharmaceuticals Industry and has held various senior leadership positions in MNC’s viz GSK & Johnson & Johnson and leading Indian companies viz. Sun Pharma. Earlier, he was associated with Sun Pharma as Cluster Head & Senior Vice-President for 15 years.
Mr. Vasan holds a PG in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia, and has been trained at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore & ISB Hyderabad. He is also a Rank Holder in Master of Science in Organic Chemistry.
