Mr. Srinivasan Raghavachari

Whole-time Director and CEO

Mr. R.S. Vasan has over 40+ years of experience in the Pharmaceuticals Industry and has held various senior leadership positions in MNC’s viz) GSK & Johnson & Johnson and leading Indian companies viz. Sun Pharma. Earlier, he was associated with Sun Pharma as Cluster Head & Senior Vice-President for 15 years.

Mr. Vasan holds a PG in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia, and has been trained at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore & ISB Hyderabad. He is also a Rank Holder in Master of Science in Organic Chemistry.

Mr. Amal Kumar

Vice President – Marketing

Amal Kumar brings extensive expertise in portfolio management, strategic planning and launch excellence across the pharmaceutical and dermatology segments. With over eight years of exclusive experience in dermatology, he has successfully led mega brands, driven first-time introductions, and spearheaded several high-impact product launches. Prior to joining Emcutix, he played a pivotal role in launching and establishing CeraVe under L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in India. His career spans leadership roles across leading global organizations including Galderma, Abbott, Allergan and Alcon, where he has consistently driven strong brand performance and market-shaping innovations. He has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including:
  • JPAC Best Practice Award, Singapore – CARE Initiative, Galderma
  • Two VP Awards at Abbott for best performing emerging derma brands
  • Golden Globe Tiger Award for Innovative New Product Launch for Lofatin – Abbott

  • Mr. Kumar holds a B. Pharmacy degree from MCOPS, Manipal, and an MBA (Gold Medalist) from NMIMS, Mumbai.

Mr. Biswarup Chatterjee

Vice President – Sales

Biswarup Chatterjee brings extensive leadership experience across dermatology, general medicine, and specialty segments. With a strong track record in driving growth, expanding brand portfolios, and leading high-performing teams, he has consistently delivered impactful business outcomes across prominent pharmaceutical organizations.

With over 24 years of industry experience, including significant contributions in dermatology, Mr. Chatterjee has held key commercial roles at Alkem Laboratories, Galderma India, and Ranbaxy Laboratories. Across these roles, he strengthened market positions, built robust portfolios, and played a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy.

He is actively involved in leadership assessment centers at Emcutix Biopharmaceuticals and has also served as a certified assessor in his previous organizations, contributing to talent development and capability-building initiatives.

Mr. Chatterjee holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Calcutta University and has completed a leadership certification program from IIM Kozhikode.
